Another is convinced that she can do it on her own: “My body will be able to try to heal itself, just like with any other virus.”

Keep your “freedoms”

Others, whose testimonies are also pouring in on social networks, are not so radical, but would rather catch it so that their immune system “knows how to beat the disease naturally”. A young man interviewed by Le Figaro, wants to avoid vaccination and “protocols” but prefers to have it “not to lose his freedoms”.

Young people who believe they are thus protected from serious forms of the disease, a natural feeling for a teacher-researcher in psychology, whereas for twenty years, young people have been afraid of “the artificial which is dangerous and toxic”. A finding shared by a nearly thirty-something questioned by our colleagues: “I prefer to catch the Covid, because I know what I risk, unlike the effects of the vaccine in the long term.” To be contaminated rather than to establish fakes, the border is thin, but more logical according to sociologists.
