8. Laurie Cunningham

The former British and Jamaican left winger joined Real Madrid in 1979 from West Bromwich. He spent four seasons in the merengue discipline before being loaned to Manchester United between March and June 1983. He would go through Sporting Gijón, Olympique Marseille, Leicester, Rayo Vallecano, RSC Charleroi, Wimbledon and Rayo Vallecano before dying in 1989 as a result of a traffic accident at age 33.

The Argentine right winger arrived at Real Madrid in 2010 and stayed until 2014, when he landed at Old Trafford. After a discreet season, he reached the Paris Saint Germain, club in which he is today since 2015.

The Mexican center forward came to Manchester United in 2010 from Chivas Guadalajara and he stayed until the summer of 2015, going to Bayer Leverkusen. He did so after spending the 2014-15 campaign on loan at Real Madrid. After passing through the Bundesliga, played at West Ham, Sevilla and, since 2020, in the Los Angeles Galaxy.

The former Argentine defender came to Manchester United in 2004 after three seasons at Paris Saint Germain. He spent the same period of time at Old Trafford before landing at Real Madrid in 2007. Two years later he would play for Olympique Marseille, the third-to-last club before AS Roma and Newell’s Old Boys before hanging up his boots in 2014.

The French central defender has ended his decade-long spell at Real Madrid after arriving from Lens in 2011. Now he is starting a new one at Old Trafford, where he has signed a contract until 2026.

The former Dutch center forward landed in 2001 at Manchester United from PSV Eindhoven and spent five years at Old Trafford. He spent four exercises at Real Madrid since arriving in 2006, with subsequent spells at Hamburger SV and Málaga before hanging up the boots in 2012.

The former English right-hander landed in the lower ranks of Manchester United at the age of 16 and was in the first team between 1993 and 2003, with a loan to Preston North End between January and March 1995 in between. He came to the Spanish capital directly, playing for Real Madrid until 2007. He would pass through the Los Angeles Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint Germain before hanging up his boots in 2013.
