“When I woke up there was a rock on my stomach, because I’m going to send one of the men home today,” says Caroline, while she clears her mind with soapy water. “It’s not in my nature to hurt anyone at all… I don’t like that very much, no.”
Yet she can’t put it off any longer and that’s why she takes Nico aside for a while. The 51-year-old was the first of the men to arrive in the Netherlands, but despite his good intentions does not fit into Caroline’s life. “I really hate having to say and do this, but the choice fell on you.” Caroline would like to explain that, because although she is extremely grateful for his efforts, she personally does not feel the chemistry that way. “I don’t think you’re the type of person I can really relate to.”

Although Nico says that he understands her choice and has his doubts himself, his actions earlier that week prove the opposite. “Of course I hear him say that he wishes me all the best, but I notice that at that moment that is also an attitude for him and that he quickly erects a wall and actually shields himself a bit from that. And I understand that.” I am also very good, if you get that so raw.(…) Of course I feel his disappointment.”
“Do I find it annoying? Yes. Do I think it is a shame? Yes”, a surprised Nico tells the camera a little later. “Something happened to me this week that has been a fantastic experience and I am going to enjoy it and I will hold on to that. Because in the end for love, you need two for that.”

“In the beginning I gave her a note in which I said: ‘Gosh, do you want something too? Then let me know every now and then.’ A wink, a this, a that… And that just didn’t happen.” According to Nico, Caroline goes for the feeling and that he would fit perfectly in Austria, that is irrelevant.
In the same episode, presenter Art Rooijakkers also visits Bert in France. Because what about him and Romana now? B&B Full of Love can be seen every Monday to Thursday at 8.30 p.m. on RTL 4. Or look ahead at Videoland.
