Tokopedia shared insights regarding the categories that soared during Emergency PPKM, from Health to Household.

“During the first three weeks of the Emergency PPKM period, the Health, Food and Beverage, and Household categories were the three categories at Tokopedia with the most significant sales spikes,” said Tokopedia’s External Communications Senior Lead, Ekhel Chandra Wijaya.
In the Health category, products such as oximeters, vitamins and masks were the most sought after by the public through Tokopedia during the first 3 weeks of Emergency PPKM. “People can visit ‘Tokopedia Cares for Health’ to get selected health products that have been curated with a range of other conveniences, including discounts of up to 90%,” said Ekhel.
In the Food and Beverage category, coffee products, food packages and parcels, as well as spices and food ingredients were some of the products that were most sought after by the public during the Emergency PPKM period. The public can also find a variety of food and beverage choices from business activists, especially local food and beverage SMEs, through ‘Tokopedia NYAM!’.
Meanwhile in the Household category, the most popular products include towels, sleeping pillows, and disinfectant liquid. Public awareness of health protection at home continues to increase. This can be seen from the disinfectant liquid which is increasingly being hunted by the public. Starting from small bottles that are easy to carry around, to disinfectant liquids refill in big packs.
