The Guinness Book of Records certified the feat on July 13, officially making them the most expensive fries on the planet. The chef is used to making records since he has already imagined the most expensive burger and sundae (ice cream) in the world.

If you feel like trying the “Creme de la Crème Fries” at home, you will need Chipperbec potatoes. They are blanched, or scalded, in vinegar and champagne.
