Many people see this pandemic as the beginning of the apocalypse of the earth. Humans and other living things will become extinct, eliminating the civilization that has been built. Even though the current situation was chaotic, this was still a theory.
Theories about the end of the earth have been put forward by many scientists. They have made a number of cases. Launching various sources, here are a number of theories that are said to end life on this earth.
1. The sun’s rays are too bright
When sunlight becomes too strong, it will disrupt the cycle of oxygen production on this earth. Plants have difficulty photosynthesis. This makes both animals and humans out of air and die from suffocation.

2. Comets fall to earth
Like the dinosaur extinction theory, falling comets are still a strong theory of the cause of extinction. The fall of a comet large enough will produce a large explosion to extreme weather changes.

3. Artificial intelligence takes over the earth
Like the Terminator movies, the well-known theory of extinction is that man-made intelligence trumps humanity itself. They ended up having a higher intelligence than humans and chose to rebel.

4. Human population is more than food supply
This theory was put forward by economist Thomas Malthus in the 18th century. The human population is growing too fast and continues to grow causing inequality in the amount of food. Food production cannot meet human hunger and this creates conflict.

5. Gamma ray burst
Gamma-ray bursts aren’t just Marvel fiction. If a superstar exploded in a galaxy there, the sun could be affected. The most feared thing is that the sun will die and make all living things in the Milky Way galaxy die.

6. Super large eruption
There are still many volcanoes equivalent to Mount Krakatoa that are active until now. Researchers theorize that this kind of volcanic explosion could occur at any time and the effect would result in a tsunami until the ice age.

7. Algae no longer produces oxygen
Apart from trees, algae are the other largest oxygen producer on earth. A geobiologist is concerned that if climate change cannot be stopped and continues to occur, it is not impossible that these algae will no longer produce oxygen but toxic chlorine gas.

8. Earth is moving away from the sun
The distance of the earth’s orbit to the sun is constantly changing. This change can not be denied will have an impact on life.
Not to mention that other planets are also experiencing the problem of orbital changes. It is not impossible that the planets will collide with each other.

9. The fungus problem is rampant
So far, humans have always focused on studying diseases that come from viruses and bacteria. As for diseases from fungi, many studies are still not deep enough. It is feared that this negligence will result in the presence of a mysterious fungal disease that is unknown to people.

10. The problems in the previous point that came together
If one theory of this extinction occurred and caused chaos everywhere, imagine what would happen if they came together? Even at a glance, actually each of these theories has a connection with one another. Like a snowball, it is not impossible that the realization of one theory will result in the emergence of another theory of extinction.
How? Which theory do you think is the most plausible for causing the extinction of life? Is the comet fall? Or because of the explosion of a supervolcano?
