According to a communiqué sent on Thursday to Ziare.com, the admission contest at the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMF) Bucharest will take place on Monday, July 25, 2016, at 9:00.
For the 950 budget places, 3,168 candidates registered. The biggest fight is in Medicine, and the fewest candidates in terms of the number of places are registered at the Pharmacy.
Here is the distribution of candidates on faculty:
- for the 510 places at the Faculty of Medicine, 1,942 candidates registered;
- for the Faculty of Dentistry, 583 candidates / 130 places;
- for the Faculty of Pharmacy, 259 candidates / 140 places;
- for the Faculty of Midwives and Medical Assistance (FMAM), 384 candidates / 170 places.
Also, another 470 places are available for a fee, at all four faculties – 200 at Medicine, 125 at Dentistry, 100 at Pharmacy and 45 at GEF.
In addition, 20 winners of national and international Olympics in disciplines such as biology, physics or chemistry they decided to enroll in UMF “Carol Davila”, being admitted without an exam.

The registrations for admission to UMF Carol Davila were made between July 14 and 20. The grid exam is required for all faculties.
