The name of the dish? “Creme de la Creme Pommes Frites”. The restaurant already has the records for the most expensive hamburger and ice cream in the world, with respectively 250 and 850 euros. But for the fries, you will have to do it in advance, since they must be reserved 8 to 10 weeks in advance, recalls the Voice of the North.
Why are they so expensive?
At Serendupity 3, the fries are made from Chipperbeck earth, first blanched with Dom Perignon champagne and white champagne vinegar from the Ardennes.
The fries are then dipped three times in the fat of geese raised free in the South-West. They are then spiced up with a truffle Guérande salt, a truffle oil. To finish, the plate is sprinkled with Pecorino, black truffle shavings, truffle butter, Gruyère raclette with truffle and gold powder. But no Andalusian sauce.
It is not the all-you-can-eat fries that could be offered in McDonald’s.
