Paulo Dybala’s agent is expected in Turin on Monday, ready to resume negotiations over the Argentine’s future with Juventus later this week. Other Bianconeri players with one year of contract remaining like Cristiano Ronaldo or free have their case under study with the leaders of the Italian club.
Sky Sport Italia reports that the striker’s agent will arrive in Italy in the next few hours, but must quarantine himself for 10 days before he can meet with the directors of Continassa. Dybala’s contract expires in June 2022 and the Argentine has reunited with his teammates after the holidays, as he did not make the Copa America, where Argentina won the competition.
The 27-year-old, who arrived from Palermo in July 2015, has not struck a deal with the Old Lady, but Max Allegri is expected to give him an important role in the squad. Besides Dybala, five other players still have a year contract with Juventus, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Juan Cuadrado, Mattia De Sciglio, Mattia Perin and Federico Bernardeschi.
Giorgio Chiellini is a player free of any contract since his lease with the Bianconeri expired last June. But, the Italian European champion 2020 has reached an agreement to continue until June 2022 and will assess a possible extension until 2023 with the club in the coming months.
