The Babou brand disappears in Lorraine, replaced by B&M: the stores concerned

The Babou brand in Lorraine is over! The famous bazaar store where many products are offered at low prices changes its name in the region to become “B&M”. In Lorraine, it is the end of the name change of this brand bought three years ago.

Epinal, Metz, Nancy …

The stores of Epinal, Metz-Semécourt, Nancy Essey (Porte Verte), Forbach, Metz-Augny will change their names between August 4 and September 1, 2021, according to a press release from the group which already has more than 1,000 points of sale in Europe.

Customers will thus discover a “new offer around 8 worlds of home and leisure”. The English group claims to want to “shake up the non-food part offered by French hypermarkets”.

In total, 11 B&M stores are open in the Grand Est region.

Disney, Milka, Haribo, Bic, Adidas

In addition to its own brands, the stores offer products from major brands at “cut prices” cheaper than in traditional supermarkets. In particular, we can find Haribo candies, Adidas or Umbro sporting goods, Whiscas and Pedigree animal products, Bic, L’Or cafes or the famous Disney and Harry Potter franchises.

B&M is riding the success of discount stores like Action, Normal, Stokomani or even Noz and Centrakor.
