NEW YORK – If you travel through the BQE to get to work, you should think about an alternate route, as it is covered in peppers after a truck accident.
You know it’s Monday morning when you have to find another way to work because the road is full of peppers.
A truck overturned in the eastbound BQE near Exit 30 early Monday, spilling what appeared to be yellow and orange bell peppers all over the highway.
Our helicopter was over the scene, where a lane of traffic was passing.
The cause or more details of the accident were not released; no injuries were reported immediately.
