NEW YORK – Authorities are searching for a suspect in the stabbing of a Manhattan laundry worker on Sunday, New York City Police announced.
According to the police report, the incident occurred in a laundry located in 9 Delancey St, around 2:00 pm Sunday, when the victim, a 40-year-old Asian man, entered into a verbal argument with the suspect.
At that moment, the uniformed officer said, the alleged attacker stabbed the victim in the back with a knife and fled the scene. The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital.
The suspect is described as a bald man who was last seen wearing a white sweater, black pants and brown boots.
So far they are not investigating the case as a hate crime.
