A month before his death, Milan Lasic († 81) gave birth to a longed-for grandson from his daughter Žofia. Unfortunately, the artist did not enjoy it for a long time, he died on Sunday, July 18, on the stage.

Slovak entertainer Milan Lasica († 81) he didn’t just have two granddaughters, shortly before his death, a popular actor gave birth to a grandson. Milan Lasica had s actress Magda Vášáryová (72) two daughters, Elder Han (40) a younger Žofia (39). It was from the older Hanička that he met two granddaughters, Stela and Esterka.

About a month ago, the family welcomed a new member. A baby boy was born to his daughter Zofia. Zofia guards his private life like an eye in his head. When she got married in 2013, she tried to keep the party under wraps in front of the media. She did not follow in the acting footsteps of her parents and is engaged in business.

The public only found out about Lasico’s secret grandson through the funeral, which Žofia arrived with a black pram.

Milan Lasica collapsed directly on the stage. It happened after he sang the song I am an optimist during the final performance with the Bratislava Hot Serenaders orchestra at the Štúdio L + S theater. The Slovak actor still managed to bow to the audience and, with a storm of applause, then slowly slid to the ground in front of their eyes. Doctors tried to revive the Slovak legend for twenty minutes, but without success.

The legend died

Milan Lasica was born in 1940 in Zvolen, later the family moved to Bratislava, where he studied dramaturgy. In the 1950s, he met the well-known actor and his longtime friend and artistic partner Júlia Satinský, who died in 2002. In 1989, Lasica received the title of Merited Artist and in 2003 Czech President Václav Havel awarded him the Medal of Merit. Milan Lasica also wrote Slovak texts for the queen of Czech chanson, Hana Hegerová, who died in March this year.

For example, he starred in the films Three Veterans (1983), Saturnin (1994), Witness of the Dying Time (1990), I Served the King of England (2006), Inheritance or Kurvaseneříká (2014) or Agáva (2016).
