Julia Dicurno awarded the film “Titane” at the Cannes Film Festival

The second most prestigious awards at the festival “Grand Prix” are shared by the Iranian director Ashgar Farhadi for the film “A Hero” (“Hero”) and the Finnish director Juho Kuosmanen for the film “Compartment No.6”.

The Best Director Award went to French director Leos Carac for the film “Annette” (“Anete”).

The best actress award went to Norwegian actress Renate Reinswe for her performance in “Worst Person in the World”, and the Best Actor Award for performance in “Nitram” honored American actor Caleb Landriy Jones.

Hammaguchi Rjusuke and Takamasa Oe were awarded the Best Screenplay Award for the screenplay for the Japanese film “Drive My Car”.

The jury award is shared by Israeli director Nadav Lapid for “Ahed’s Knee” and Thai director Apichatpong Virasetacul for “Memoria”.
