Share of status holders with benefits rises sharply: ‘More than half is really a lot’ | Inland

Amsterdam – Statistics Netherlands figures show that the share of status holders receiving benefits has risen sharply in eight years. Of the asylum migrants who were registered in the Netherlands for five years between 2012 and 2019, 53 percent lived on social security (16,580 people). In the period 2004-2011 this was 38 percent (14,970 people).
