Twostay Coworking is an award-winning dual use concept: the startup transforms restaurants into inspiring and functional workplaces. There is already Twostay in several cities – and since April 19 also in Leipzig’s Micello’s on Katharinenstraße.
HomeOffice-Koller: For many families, the house blessing is crooked because the living room has to serve as a home office or the internet connection is interrupted again because the youngsters attend their digital school lessons at the same time or the crawling toddler has pulled the plug. Many a single struggles against loneliness in their apartment and barely manages to close their laptop because the one-room apartment is increasingly merging with the job.
Help for the gastro
Twostay provides restaurateurs with additional sales – this is a great help for restaurateurs, especially in times of Corona.
Double use: Twostay has been converting bars or restaurants that are empty during the day into coworking spaces since it was founded in 2018. A win-win for everyone involved: the restaurateurs receive a subsidy for their ancillary costs, free advertising and the bulkheads of their premises are not completely sealed. The best: you don’t have to worry about anything.

Dorothea and Cecilia hit a nerve with their future work concept and expand it to eight other cities in addition to Leipzig (Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Nuremberg, Bochum). The big vision: grow quickly so that people all over the world can find the right space for their needs at any time via online click.
Strong neighborhoods
The coworkers mostly come from the immediate neighborhood. Twostay creates a meeting point in the area, thereby attracting attention to the district and revitalizing it through its diverse uses. Neighbors get to know each other and new networks are created.
The Twostay model is so flexible that it can be used in any city and any district – all you need is a restaurant, hotel lobby or a community room that is not used during the day. The founders dream of having Twostay Spaces in every municipality and city across Europe. Everyone should have a two-day space close by.

Debbie is the community host in Leipzig. Leipzig has been her adopted home for 10 years. Debbie loves being a host. It is important to her to create places where you can feel comfortable and work effectively.
