The Reitsport Hagen-Grinden eV started on Wednesday together with the Polo Club Hagen-Grinden in the traditional tournament that combines show jumping with polo. The equestrian spectacle on the tournament site in Hagen-Grinden with tests up to advanced level S * continues until Sunday. With riders from Germany, Sweden, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Poland and Russia, the tournament is even international.
Verden – Jack O Donohue won the first two tests. The Irishman, who starts for the RV Aller-Weser, won the first division of the opening competition for young horses at A * level with Match Point (Messenger x MV Sandro Boy). The rider from the Beerbaum stable achieved a score of 8.50 with the five-year-old Hanoverian gelding. With his second horse Conthindo, O Donhue also secured third place. The second part of this examination went to his club colleague Nadine Wahlers. She was successful with Orlanda Mia (Orlando x MV Calato). Third place went to Amanda Isaksson and Odessa.
Nadine Wahlers also celebrated a second success of the day, because she was also able to win the medium level jumping test for young horses. With Quantum (Qualito x MV Escudo)
Nadine Wahlers, riding for RV Aller-Weser, won this victory with a grade of 8.80. Club colleague Oliver Ross took third place with Otto de la Roche.

For Conthindo there was again third place. The other starters from RV Aller-Weser, Philipp Baumgart, Mylene Nagel, Sissy Mercedes Castedello and Julie Mynou Diederichsmeier were among those placed.
Mylene Diederichsmeier, who recently married Carsten-Otto Nagel and is now starting under his name, won the L-level jumping test for young horses. With the seven-year-old mare Makani (Messenger x MV Kolibri) the rider from RV Aller-Weser achieved an 8.50. The highlight on the first days of the competition was an M * level jumping horse test. This went to Vilma Edberg from Sweden.
The next day of the tournament started with a double victory for Baumgarts in the A ** class for young horses. Anabel Baumgart and Campari (Crumble x MV Cornet’s Balou) won ahead of Isalie Baumgart and Hamburg. For Isalie there was also a third place in the L class with Hamburg. Linnea Heemsoth was also able to look forward to a double success. The young rider from RV Aller-Weser took first and second place in style jumping. She was victorious with her pony Midnight and a grade of 8.50. With Eastwood’s Nico she got an 8.30.
