JAKARTA, KOMPAS – Central Java province is still one of the provinces that contributes to the largest daily positive Covid-19 cases in Indonesia. Vice President Ma’ruf Amin asked the ranks of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force in Central Java Province to work extra hard to deal with the pandemic, especially upstream.
The addition of new cases in Central Java recorded 5,371 people and 309 people died as of Friday (23/7/2021). In fact, the day before, Central Java recorded the highest number of deaths due to Covid-19 in Indonesia, which was 402 people. “The downstream is the result of improper handling of the upstream,” said Vice President Amin when giving a briefing to the Central Java Covid-19 Handling Task Force, via video conference, Friday (23/7/2021).
