According to Gazeta Wyborcza, 46 people were not allowed on board the plane. Would-be passengers reported that the flight was supposed to start at 10:15, and the gates were closed a quarter of an hour earlier.

There are exactly 46 of us who were not allowed on the plane. The gate was closed at exactly 10:00. The planned flight was to start at 10:15. (…) The manager from Ryanair closed the gate in front of us – explains one of the would-be passengers (Gazeta Wyborcza).

Passengers were denied boarding of the Ryanair flight
The non-boarding upset the would-be passengers, the more so as the plane finally left with a 35-minute delay. It was supposed to be caused by the removal of injured customers’ luggage from the luggage hatch.

Olga Pawlonka, a representative of Ryanair airlines, spoke about the event. As she explained, some passengers were late for check-in and the plane, and those who stayed at the airport were offered assistance and free booking of the next flight. The statement also included an apology.

Some passengers missed the gate and the flight to Paphos. Injured customers were offered appropriate assistance and the next flight was booked free of charge. Ryanair sincerely apologized to all affected customers for the disruptions that were completely beyond the airline’s control – said Olga Pawlonka (Gazeta Wyborcza).

Not all passengers were satisfied with the solution proposed by Ryanair staff. They indicated that it complicated their vacation plans due to previously made hotel or vehicle reservations.
