The study looked at 20 subjects of both sexes between the ages of 20 and 50. All of these people were obese.
These people introduced 10 grams per day of freeze-dried mango pulp into their diet for 12 weeks.
After 12 weeks, the researchers found a drop in the blood glucose levels of all participants. In male subjects, the decrease was higher, although this did not lead to significant weight loss.
This study shows us that regular mango consumption by overweight individuals can reduce blood sugar levels.
Mango and cholesterol

This is what emerges from a study published in the British Journal of Nutrition. Subjects who consumed a small amount of mango saw a noticeable reduction in blood cholesterol levels.
