Grab Confirms Not To Be Involved In ‘Jokowi End Game’ Action 24 July

Mass action call posterJokowi End Game‘ for July 24 went viral on social media. There is a company logo Grab there. Grab confirmed that it did not participate in the action.

“We hereby emphasize that Grab is not involved at all in this movement where the inclusion of the company logo is carried out by irresponsible parties,” said President of Grab Indonesia, Ridzki Kramadibrata, in a written statement, Friday (23/7/2021).

Motorcycle taxi drivers online (ojol) under the umbrella of Grab, which they call partners, must not be involved in provocation of vandalism. If a Grab partner continues to take part in the action, the Grab partner must take personal responsibility for his behavior.

“Grab driver and delivery partners are bound by a code of ethics, including provisions that regulate them not to engage or provoke other partners to carry out activities that can damage public facilities or harm other parties, and or harm any party, not least harming Grab,” said Ridzki .

As a corporate institution, Grab is not involved in the personal political attitudes of its partners. If there are Grab partners who take part in the action, that is the personal attitude of the Grab partners.

“The attitudes and opinions expressed by Grab driver and delivery partners are entirely personal and do not reflect the opinions or attitudes of Grab as a company,” said Ridzki.

Currently, Indonesia is still facing the COVID-19 pandemic with the implementation of PPKM Level 4 to micro PPKM. Grab said it always coordinates with the government. Grab supports the government’s efforts to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, including helping the distribution of vaccines in more than 54 cities and districts.
