The burglar was apparently quite clumsy and that’s what lost him. In November 2018 then in January 2019 two apartments located on the ground floor, in the same street of the Saint-Aubin district in Toulouse, were visited. Each time, the burglar forced the shutters to enter the premises. He took control of all kinds of business: multimedia equipment, jewelry or even clothing.
An investigation was opened and entrusted to the police officers of the Right Bank property attacks unit in order to elucidate these break-ins. In addition to the similar procedure, the burglar has twice left his “signature” at the scene of his misdeeds. Clumsy, he injured himself each time and left his blood. The investigators collected these traces and succeeded in identifying this man already unfavorably known to justice. The 33-year-old was taken into police custody on Wednesday to explain these coincidences. Uncooperative, he said he did not remember committing the burglaries. He should be tried this Friday by the Toulouse Criminal Court as part of the immediate appearances.
