This is reported by the media group Funke. It would mean that people traveling from the Netherlands and Spain to Germany would be subject to stricter restrictions such as the requirement to bring a negative test. Germany adjusts the country lists on Fridays.
The plan follows the latest change to the European ‘corona map’, where the Netherlands, like parts of Spain, was colored darker due to the increase in the number of infections. Travelers arriving from a high-risk area should always carry a negative result of a corona test, or proof that they have been vaccinated or cured, according to a German government website. They are required to go directly to their destination and go into home quarantine there for a period of time, but the period can be ended under certain conditions with a new corona test with a negative result.
