JAKARTA, iNews.id – July is coming to an end. During the third week of July there will be at least four phenomena astronomy interesting that skywatchers are worth watching.
The four astronomy, starting from the conjunction of Antares to the phase of the full moon, will become the astronomical calendar that will occur in the third week of July 2021. Reported from the Instagram of the National Aeronautics and Space Institute (LAPAN), the following astronomical phenomena will occur.
1. Conjunction of the month – antares
The peak of the conjunction of the moon-antares occurred on July 20, 2021 at 19.06 WIB. This phenomenon can be witnessed since 18.10 WIB from the east-southeast direction. Then it will set in the west-southwest at 02.30.
2. Perige Moon
The lunar perigee occurs every 27 1/3 days on average with varying intervals of two adjacent lunar periges. The lunar perigee in July 2021 will occur on July 21 at 17:34 WIB with a distance of 364,546 km from the earth, 90.4% illumination and around the constellation Ofiukus.
This month’s perige can be seen from 15.00 WIB from the east-southeast direction and sets the next day in the west-southwest at around 04.00 WIB.
