Tonight Someone Jumped Into Space

VIVA – Space Agency Russia or Roscosmos will launch a Science Module Science to the station Outer Space International or ISS on this Wednesday evening, July 21, 2021. Nauka, the Multipurpose Laboratory Module, is designed to dock on the ISS to provide a large number of new capabilities to the outpost.

Nauka also serves to resume assembly of the Russian Segment ISS after a gap of a decade or 10 years. This Science Module will launch from Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan using the Proton-M Rocket which is scheduled to take off at 10:58 EDT or 21:58 WIB.

The live broadcast of the launch can be watched on the Roscosmos YouTube channel. Nauka will replace the Pirs Module, which has been operating in space for two decades or 20 years. If the launch of Nauka goes well, Pirs will break away from the ISS on July 23, 2021 and fall in flames in Earth’s atmosphere.
