JAKARTA – School children from Elementary School (SD) to Upper Secondary School (SMA) get social assistance included in the Family Hope Program (PKH). The total aid for school children is around Rp. 4.4 million.
As for the details, Elementary students get Rp. 900 thousand/year (Rp. 225 thousand/quarter), Middle School students Rp. 1.5 million/year (Rp. 375 thousand/quarter) and High School students: Rp. 2 million/year (Rp. 500 thousand/quarter).

The BLT for students is distributed within one year with 4 disbursement periods starting in January, April, July and October. BLT can be taken at state-owned banks that have been appointed by the government, including BRI, Mandiri, BNI and BTN.
The conditions for receiving this assistance are as follows;
– In order to get BLT students, parents must have a Smart Indonesia Card (KIP).

– KIP recipients must be registered in formal (SD/SMP/SMA/SMK) and non-formal (PKBM/SKB/LKP) educational institutions in their respective regions.
– KIP recipients must also be registered in the Education Principal Data (Dapodik) of educational institutions.
