One person was injured in a stabbing on Korreweg in Groningen around half past six on Tuesday evening. Police arrested a minor suspect a short time later.
According to the police, the victim is also under 18 years old and was urgently taken to hospital under the supervision of a trauma doctor.
It is unknown how many people were involved in the stabbing. “We are now investigating on the spot what exactly happened,” said police spokesman Thijs Damstra.
Large investigative team present
Police closed off part of the street immediately after the incident. A large team of detectives came to the scene for an investigation and talked, among other things, with young people who witnessed the stabbing.
The suspect has been arrested and is being questioned.

RTV Noord reports that bystanders saw a thirteen-year-old girl stab a fourteen-year-old boy. That would have happened after an argument at the entrance of the apartment complex.
