High temperatures, rainfall and storms will put 13 central and eastern peninsular provinces at risk on Tuesday, in a day with locally strong showers or storms in the Pyrenees and south of the Iberian system, and significantly high temperatures in the southern plateau and basin del Ebro, according to the prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).

This Tuesday, the heat will put Aragon, La Rioja, Navarra, Madrid, Albacete, Cuenca, Guadalajara, Toledo and Lleida at risk, while the rains and storms will activate the warnings in Barcelona, ​​Girona, Lleida and Huesca. Teruel will also be at risk from storms.

On this day, the skies will be cloudy or with cloudy intervals in the northwest coast of Galicia and in the north of the Canary Islands of greater relief, with the possibility of some light rain. Cloudy intervals also at the beginning of the day with some fog banks in the rest of Galicia, western Cantabrian and Cádiz, tending to slightly cloudy during the day.

Little cloudy or clear skies are expected at the beginning of the day in the rest of the country, but with daytime cloudiness in areas of the northeastern half of the peninsula, and with the possibility of even a shower or isolated storm in the afternoon in the Cantabrian mountain range and Iberian system , and being more likely and even locally strong in the south of the Iberian and in the Pyrenees.

The maximum temperatures will decrease in Galicia, the peninsular southwest quadrant and the Canary Islands; and on the rise in the surroundings of the upper Ebro. Night falls in the south-western third of the peninsula, and on the rise in the northern half.

The wind will blow from the north in Galicia and the Cantabrian Sea, from the west in the southwest of the peninsula and the Strait, and loose variables in general in the rest of the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. In the Canary Islands, moderate trade winds from the northeast, with some strong intervals.
