After a long delay, the first notifications for the basic pension have been sent. They first go to new pensioners, as the German pension insurance association announced on Monday. “Since a total of 26 million pensions must be checked whether the surcharge can be paid, the last cases will be processed at the end of 2022,” added the authority.
