SBY Enters Hollywood Film, Democrat Claims to be Missed by the World

Party Democrat stated the emergence of the figure of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) in the Hollywood film titled The Tomorrow War is a form of world recognition of Indonesia, especially SBY in maintaining world peace.

The head of the Democratic Party’s Strategic Communications Agency, Herzaky Mahendra Putra, said that SBY was portrayed as the protagonist even though he only briefly appeared in the film.

“Here, as a form of recognition to Indonesia, especially to the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, as one of the world’s leaders who, while in office, played an active role in maintaining and promoting world peace and order, in accordance with the mandate of the Constitution, ” he said in a press release on Sunday (18/7).

Herzaky explained, film The Tomorrow War took the moment when SBY met with former British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown. It happened on March 31, 2009 on the sidelines of the G-20 forum in London.

Herzaky said there is a possibility that the international world will miss SBY’s figure in the midst of a crisis situation like the current one due to the corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic.

Meanwhile, the Democrat Party politician who is also the former Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Andi Mallarangeng suspected the film director The Tomorrow War impressed on SBY when he served as president first.

“Anyway, it’s also proud to see the figure of the (former) president of our country shown as part of a world leader who unites against aliens in an interesting Hollywood film,” he said via his personal Instagram account.

Film Tomorrow War starring Hollywood actor Chris Pratt and directed by Chris McKay. The plan, the film was released in July this year.
