Max Verstappen had to be taken to hospital after his bad accident today during the Silverstone GP. After a touch between him and Lewis Hamilton, the Dutchman hit the protective barrier very hard, being initially referred to the Circuit Medical Center, where doctors thought it best to take him to the hospital for more detailed examinations. Fortunately, there is good news about this now.
The Dutchman had a CT scan in addition to other tests, and after the satisfactory results and an observation period, he was discharged. Verstappen himself announced this on their social networks. He posted a photo with his father, Jos Verstappen, saying he doesn’t need to stay in the hospital anymore and he’s fine. He also thanked everyone for the messages of support he received.
Cleared from the hospital after all the checks were ok. Thank you to everyone for all the nice messages and best wishes ???????? pic.twitter.com/zBlfbQ8uh4
