45-year-old man died after Amsterdam stabbing incident

A 45-year-old man was killed in a stabbing incident in Amsterdam last night. The police have arrested three suspects.

Around 00.15 hours, the police received several reports of a fight on Rozengracht, in which a man was allegedly assaulted. Officers found the man with multiple stab wounds. The victim was resuscitated on the street and taken to hospital, reports NH News. There he died.

A little further on, officers found a 29-year-old man with injuries who also appear to have been involved in the incident. He was arrested and taken to hospital. Two other suspects were also arrested, with the help of employees of the Municipal Transport Company (GVB) and bystanders. They are a 34-year-old and a 35-year-old man.

Bystanders said to AT5 that the victim had previously been in a car and that it may have been a traffic dispute. Police are investigating and are calling on witnesses to come forward.
