Good news for quiche lovers! Since the end of June 2021, the brand French Kich settled in rue Paul Mériel, not far from Place Saint-Georges. Dorian Penner, installed at Toulouse for 20 years, and in charge of a recruitment firm in addition, there concretizes an old fad.
Eight a la carte quiches
Restaurant, which has around twenty seats indoors and on the terrace, offers eight quiches on the menu (spinach-salmon, Chicago Bull, Basque, butternut with mushrooms, onions and parsley, Mexican quiche with minced meat and red beans, etc.), salads and different gazpachos with tomato, cucumber and melon. “Our quiches vary according to the season and everything is homemade, with the dough kneaded on the spot. In September, we will offer our customers duck quiches and at Christmas, truffle quiches ”, explains the manager.
Price side, count 6 euros for a 14 cm diameter quiche, 8 euros for the menu and 12 euros with the dessert in addition.
A second restaurant in 2022
French Kich, the “quicherie à la française” as the brand proudly displays, it’s also a family affair. “My three sons are shareholders”, specifies Dorian Penner. The entrepreneur has ambition for this independent brand. “My goal is to create a second restaurant in Toulouse in 2022, and I have requests to develop the brand in other cities, ”he concludes.
