At least three people have been killed in an accident involving a small plane in southwestern Germany. The aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff and ended up in a forest area in Steinenbronn, south of Stuttgart.
The plane of the American aircraft manufacturer Piper was on its way to Magdeburg, in eastern Germany.
The cause of the crash is not yet known. The black box has been recovered and German officials are investigating. The area near the crash site has been cordoned off.
