China Angry Over US Plane Landing in Taiwan: Don’t Play with Fire!

Government China angry over reports of military transport planes United States of America (USA) landed in Taiwan, this week. China warns US not to ‘play with fire’ and stop risky provocations.

As reported Xinhua and China Daily, Friday (16/7/2021), the spokesman for the Ministry of National Defense of China, Senior Colonel Wu Qian, emphasized that Taiwan is an inseparable part of Chinese territory.

Wu stated that China is closely monitoring the situation.

“The landing of any foreign military aircraft in China’s territory can only be carried out with the permission of the government of the People’s Republic of China. Infringement by foreign ships or aircraft into Chinese airspace will lead to serious consequences,” Wu said at a press conference on Thursday (15 /7) local time.

“We seriously warn the United States not to play with fire and immediately stop any risky and provocative actions, not to send false signals to the ‘Taiwan independence’ separatist powers and avoid exacerbating tensions in the Taiwan Strait,” he said.

Furthermore, Wu also warned Taiwan’s ruling Democratic Progressive Party not to misjudge the situation and not trigger new problems.

“Making provocations and seeking ‘independence’ by colluding with foreign powers will only lead Taiwan into a dangerous situation,” he said.
