Starting with the mid-range
In Unocero we have had the opportunity to test the vivo V21, which is the most advanced model of the brand that arrives in our country, and which we liked for its design and screen. However, we have spent only a few hours with the phone in hand to give you a verdict.
According to data from Canalys, for the first quarter of 2021, vivo consolidated as the brand that sold the most phones in China, grabbing a market share of 23% and surpassing manufacturers such as OPPO, Huawei, Xiaomi and Apple.
The CIU announced a few months ago that, until the first quarter of the year, in Mexico the percentage of purchase of mid-range and high-end equipment had grown. Which is why I have probably chosen to launch equipment in this range at attractive prices.
The differences between the Y11s and Y20 are very few, in fact, in performance, screen and autonomy there will not be a noticeable change in the user experience. However, users who bet on the V21 will be able to enjoy better performance thanks to its 7 nanometer lithographic process with two powerful 2.4 GHz BIG Cortex A76 cores, accompanied by six 2 GHz Cortex A55 cores.
Another substantial change between the Y11s, Y20 and V21 is the screen, since in the latter you can enjoy content in HDR10 + and it has an AMOLED panel that improves colors and consumes less energy.
Price and availability
The vivo V21 will be priced at 9,999 MXN and can be purchased in early August.
