The caretaker Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov is one of Pirogov’s patients, for whom an inspection of the Health Insurance Fund found that they had received false epicrisis. This was confirmed for nova.bg by the Press Center of the Ministry of Health.
Last November, he was admitted to hospital for treatment with COVID-19 and was discharged as being treated for cirrhosis of the liver.
