Toyota Insurance Service (TIS) was launched in Austria at the beginning of the year and successfully integrated into most of the domestic Toyota dealer network. Customers should be able to fall back on a complete offer from a single source – together with the financing offers of Toyota Kreditbank.

Toyota Versicherung started in Austria at the beginning of the year. How satisfied are you so far?
We got off to a very successful start and have already reached one in five Toyota new car customers within a few months. Our goal is to insure at least every fourth Toyota sold by the end of the year.
What are the reasons for the good start?
Toyota as a group pursues the strategy of offering everything from a single source. That is why we work very closely with the importer and Toyota Kreditbank. In addition to our innovative products and competitive prices, we are deeply integrated into Toyota’s range in Austria thanks to additional customer benefits.
What do these customer benefits look like in concrete terms?
A major advantage is the insurance bonus of 500 euros when buying and insuring a new Toyota. Another advantage of Toyota insurance is that in the event of an accident, we always haul the vehicle to the desired Toyota partner throughout Austria. In this way, we ensure professional repairs with an additionally reduced deductible and also focus on customer benefits.
Toyota has hybrid insurance. What are your first experiences with the product?
The interest in our hybrid insurance is well above our expectations. We have therefore decided to offer this innovative insurance solution not only for the Yaris but also for the Corolla, C-HR and RAV4 models.
How does hybrid insurance work?
The hybrid insurance rewards the optimal use of the hybrid drive with a bonus of up to 15 percent on the insurance premium. The more distance our customer drives in pure e-mode, the lower the fuel consumption and thus the CO2 emissions and the higher the hybrid bonus. Our customer saves fuel and insurance costs and makes an active contribution to environmental protection.
