Soon in Rēzekne, Limbaži and Rīga you will be able to see a resounding environmental art object “Savpatība”, the sides of which will reflect the footage of Latvian songs documented by director Roberts Rubīns, which conductor Sigvards Kļava has met on his research journey for several years.

“Peculiarity” is a unique public installation and musical message that invites you to see and hear yourself. The multimedia multimedia installation will consist of mirror objects, the musical design of which uses compositions created by Latvian composers Santas Ratniece and Ēriks Ešenvalds. Depending on the location and travel route, visitors will be able to hear individual instruments and voices in various combinations. “A project that once again allowed us to gain a strong affirmation of our land and people – beautiful, talented, full of strength. Together, the meeting was like a miraculous and creative well for each of us. In fact – a road and a bridge to each other, between the ancient, the present and the future, between the traditional and the professional. For me personally – a very beautiful and powerful stage of creative life, ”comments Sigvards Kļava, the author of the idea and conductor.

It will be possible to visit the art object “Savpatība” from July 16 to 24 in Rēzekne, in the outdoor area of ​​“Gors”, from July 25 to August 1 in the ruins of Limbaži castle and from August 26 to 31 in Rīga, Arkadia Park.
