Career is over Conor McGregor. At least that’s what it says Khabib Nurmagomedov, following the results and events of McGregor’s most recent fight.

Also when Nurmagomedov and McGregor will duel at UFC 229 in October 2018.

“Money and fame show who you are. We often hear that money and fame change people. No. When money and fame come, they only show who you really are,” he said. Nurmagomedov.

“And what has (McGregor) done? He hit an old man (at a bar in 2019). You could see all his behavior and you would understand. As Dustin said, ‘this guy is a total scum**’.”

“I see a lot of tweets trying to give him support. How can you support someone like this? (How) When little kids, the younger generation, see themselves in this sport? If you want to promote your fight, promote it (as always.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov also had time to comment on the TKO defeat Conor McGregor over Dustin Poirier, following a broken ankle in the ring at UFC 264, saying “good will always beat evil.” Not only that, now he believes McGregor is finished.

“Without a broken leg, yes, (he can go back to how he used to be). But with a broken leg, he can never go back to how he used to be,” he said.

“As for him, no, I don’t believe (he will be able to return to the top). Conor has an okay age (32) but what happened to his mind, with his feet, this guy is finished. But he’s still good for promotion.”
