The Portugal goalkeeper leaves the Premier League to play for his compatriot in Rome. And the atmosphere seems very good.


José Mourinho has already started to make a real impression on his new club Roma.

After the first days under the new coach, “Giallorossi” confirmed on Tuesday night that Mourinho’s compatriot Patrício is being brought in from Wolverhampton.

Singing at the table

On a day eventful Rome day, where the club as well presented their new outfits, got newly hired Mourinho player group to sing their hearts out at the dinner table, reports Football Italia.

The song that was sung was of course the club anthem “Rome, Rome, Rome”

For the occasion, the players used white napkins as a replacement for the scarves fans normally wear when they sing from Curva Sud at the Olympic Stadium in the capital.

On Tuesday night, Mourinho released a video clip of the session Instagram. There you can see, among others, veteran Edin Dzeko get up on the chair while singing.

Coach profile Mourinho sums it all up in two words: “Senza parole”. Translated into Norwegian, this means that the Portuguese coach profile felt speechless, or rather was “without words”.

The 90th season of Serie A series begins on Sunday 22 August. 2021-2022 also marks the 120th anniversary of the highest level of Italian club football.
