SIA “Domenikss” is one of the convincing market and quality leaders in the Latvian car industry. At the time of the sale, the financial indicators of SIA Domenikss are stable and positive, the company’s restructuring has yielded excellent results, but the existing company’s board is strong professionals, under whose leadership several strategic development projects have been successfully started and continue, such as service center in Saurieši, etc. Market development and demand trends point to the possibility of continuing to operate effectively and maintaining market leadership.

I made the decision to sell SIA Domenikss several years ago, and at the same time I continued to implement significant development projects in the company. Mercedes cars and Domenix are a significant part of my life. In concluding this deal, I would like to express my gratitude to my Domenikss team and, in particular, to the current board, with which we have won and overcome crises. I am grateful for the cooperation of our long-term and loyal customers, from whom I have learned a lot, ”comments Benita Danilenko, owner and chairman of the council of SIA Domenikss.

SIA “Domenikss” under the leadership of Benita Danilenko has been the only importer of luxury cars in the local capital for almost 25 years, as well as the only general representative of the Mercedes-Benz brand in Latvia. Benita Danilenko has been a part of the Latvian car industry formation process, as well as the only female general representative of Mercedes-Benz in the world. The company has paid more than € 146 million in taxes to the state during this time. Domenikss is a sign of excellence and quality in the car and commercial vehicle segment. The company has sold more than 15 thousand cars, is an active donor, has supported with car services, as well as almost € 1 million has been purposefully directed to support projects, organizations and personalities that promote the growth of society and the development of Latvia, collaborated with Latvian excellence in sports, culture and art and fashion.

“My plans for the future are just as active and dynamic. I have decided to invest my knowledge, finances and other resources in solving socially important issues that are personally important to me. I will also dedicate time to my interests, family and learning and honing their knowledge and hobbies, which until now did not receive full attention due to lack of time. I also have several business projects in mind, ”Benita Danilenko describes future plans.

Following the sale, SIA Domenikss, as part of the VEHO Group, will continue to operate as a separate company, maintaining its brand, offices and service centers. The goal of VEHO group is to continue the successfully started development projects. Benita Danilenko will continue to manage the company in the coming months, until the completion of the transaction, the approval of the Competition Council and the sale of the Daimler AG Group and the fulfillment of obligations.

The acquisition of SIA Domenikss is a logical and strategic decision of the VEHO Group. We have developed and grown as a partner of the Daimler AG Group in Finland and Sweden, expanded in Lithuania and Estonia. Observing the development of the car industry in Latvia, the status and popularity of the Mercedes brand, we have always seen Domenikss as an important and very strong market leader, but Mrs. Danilenko as a strategic and smart manager. As soon as the opportunity arose to conclude this transaction and acquire SIA “Domenikss”, we did not doubt for a moment that it should be done. Thus, VEHO not only becomes the only official Mercedes-Benz dealer in all the Baltic States, but also acquires a well-organized, efficient and excellently managed company. Our customers and employees will also benefit, as we will focus on new, unique customer services and career opportunities and growth for employees, ”comments Juha Ruotsalainen, CEO of VEHO Oy AB.

Until the Competition Council approves the transaction, the parties to the transaction will refrain from further comments.
