DRESSER (m / f / d) – part-time 20 – 35h / week
Bühnenhaus Hamburg GmbH was founded in 2008. The team at the Hamburg headquarters supports more than 80 professional dressers and textile care workers at currently five theaters across Germany. As a growing company, we are constantly looking for new employees.
YOUR TASK:
As a dresser, you primarily ensure that the performers are properly dressed for the performance or that they are changed during the performance.
You are also responsible for the care of the entrusted costumes and repair minor damage yourself. In the event of major damage, give the costumes to the workshop for repairs in good time.
- the preparation of the costumes before the performance
- looking after the performers during the performance
- the control of the costumes after the performance
- the implementation of minor repairs / maintenance
- the cleaning (washing, ironing, care) of the costumes and provision of costumes in the daytime service (mornings / afternoons)
- the supervision of rehearsals and doctoral studies

YOUR PROFILE:
- Enjoy dealing with people
- intuitive handling of the general hygiene rules
- open nature and natural friendliness
- quick comprehension and independent way of working
- high and flexible willingness to work (Evening, weekend, day, holiday services)
- Ability to work in a team
- Professional experience as a dresser / tailor in the theater / musical area is desirable but not a requirement
- Training in tailoring is desirable but not a prerequisite
- Good English knowledge advantageous
- Physical fitness
