This is not the time for a two-state solution Solusi

TEL AVIV – Minister of Foreign Affairs (Foreign Minister) Israel Yair Lapid said this was not the time to pursue a two-state solution. He stressed that Israel must do whatever it takes to “defend itself”.

The statement was made during a speech at a meeting of the European Union Foreign Affairs Council (EU) which was attended by 26 EU foreign ministers with Lapid as the main guest.

“It’s no secret that I support a two-state solution,” Lapid said, but he added, “Unfortunately, there are no current plans for this.”

He continued, “We cannot be asked to take part in establishing another threat to our lives,” referring to the establishment of the State of Palestine.
