This weekend Guus Meeuwis was the first artist to hang his own CD on the facade of pop stage 013 in Tilburg. The Tilburg singer did this on Sunday evening at the end of his Club So much concert series, of which all fifty concerts took place in 013.
On an outside wall of 013 hangs a large number of discarded CDs, as an appropriate decoration. But never before has an artist been allowed to hang a special, anything but discarded CD. Meeuwis received the CD, with name and concert title on it and hung it with a cherry picker himself.

At 013 they are proud that Guus has been a regular guest in recent months. “With the Club So many shows series, 013 was able to perform at a high level again and we created happy faces among both our crew and the thousands of visitors,” says director Frens Fijns.

“With this series and his previous regular shows, Guus has sold out our hall more than seventy times. Such an achievement should be accompanied by an appropriate reward. That is why we give Guus his own CD as a gift on our building. That is the first time in the history of 013 and it is in any case already the most beautiful CD that shines on our building!”
