Börse Express – New York Stocks Conclusion: Record run continues

NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – The best-known US index Dow Jones Industrial
tested the 35,000 point mark for the first time since its record high in May at the start of the week. The other three US indices also climbed new highs before the start of the reporting season.

After an initially weaker start of trading, the Dow turned positive in early business and briefly jumped the 35,000 point hurdle. Shortly before the end he succeeded again. Ultimately, the Wall Street Barometer ended the session with a plus of 0.36 percent to just below 34,996.18 points. The record high of May 10 at just under 35,100 points is therefore within reach.

The technology-heavy Nasdaq indices set new records right at the start of trading, the S&P 500 followed quickly. He finally went with a plus of 0.35 percent to 4384.63 points from the day. The Nasdaq 100 Technology Selection Index
