With the participation of theater groups from different countries, the Cultural Center “Qatariy Ayacucho”Has been developing the Ibero-American Theater Meeting, an activity that is part of the IV International Festival “Yuraq Cuculí – Paloma Blanca” that began on May 29 and will end on July 31.
The general coordinator of the Qatariy Cultural Center, Yang Wen Canchari Canchari, announced that the activity has been carried out in favor of “our land”, in homage to peace and the fight against violence.
The general coordinator of the Qatari Cultural Center stated that due to the absence of activities on the part of the State in favor of the affected population and, therefore, a non-existent reconciliation towards the families, they started this festival in 2006.
«In 2006 we began the beginning of an artistic cultural event to commemorate the events with the following motto: In Tribute to Peace and Fight Against Violence with the Ayacuchano International Festival” Yuraq Cuculi – Paloma Blanca “, with the following artistic activity: Ibero-American Theater Encounter », he explained.
Regarding the fourth edition of this festival, Yang Canchari explained that during this month the Ibero-American Theater Meeting will be taking place and will have the participation of artists from the following countries: Brazil, Bolivia, Uruguay, El Salvador, Colombia, Chile and Peru.
THEATRICAL EXHIBITIONS
The theatrical presentations began on July 3 with the “Watercolor” Theater School of Uruguay, the Quijotas Theater Company of Bolivia with the play “Life is beautiful”, and La Bocha Theater of El Salvador with the play “Super Man.” While on July 10, the company Teatro Vreve de Colombia participated with the play «States of Vulnerability».
PRESENTATIONS CAN BE FOLLOWED
This July 17, starting at 4:00 pm, the presentation of the Companhia de Teatro de Brasil group will be held with the play “Captain Failure”.
While on July 24, from 4:00 pm, the School of Watercolor Theater of Uruguay will present its play “Cuento tú”.
Days later, on July 30, two activities will be carried out: the exhibition of the book «Theatrical Pedagogy, didactics, techniques» by Yang Wen Canchari and the presentation of the Inti Amaru Cultural Artistic Foundation of Colombia with «Uepajee, theatrical joy of juglaría vallenata and Wayuu wisdom ».
And finally, on July 31st, the play “Thumbelina el gitano” by the company Objeto Teatro de Chile and the play “Runa – humano” by the Qatari Cultural Center will be presented.
