The 17-year-old was produced for custody on Monday and imprisoned for two weeks, police lawyer Ida Fengsrud informs NTB.
Another 17-year-old is also charged in the case, but will be released during the day. The two are charged with attempted murder or complicity in it.
– He who has been produced for custody, does not want to explain himself, says Fengsrud.
Life-threatening injuries
The offended man is life-threateningly injured, and the police have not been able to interrogate him.
A police patrol came over the injured around 1.25 on Sunday night. The crime scene is located in Strøget, which is an alley between Torggata and Storgata. At 4.30 am, two men in their late teens were arrested.
Police are also looking for more perpetrators. Several people were seen running from the place in the direction of Oslo Cathedral after the incident.
Does not appear as a random victim
– I do not want to go into details, but the offended does not appear as a random victim, says Fengsrud.
The police are also working to review seizures, but Fengsrud will not go into what this is about. She emphasizes that they are in an early stage of the investigation.
– There is a good deal of investigation that remains. I do not want to go out with what we are sitting on of information, but it is natural that we try to uncover more involved, she says.
Ask witnesses to report
Police have spoken to several witnesses and are asking people who may have seen something to report it.
– We have many people we want to talk to. We are in the process and have conducted several interrogations of witnesses already, says the police attorney.
