Juventus set new euro record with Bonucci by pocketing staff – Yardbarker

Juventus now have the most players to have scored in a Euro with 12 goals from their stars in the last competition.

The Bianconeri had several players in the tournament and they backed their nations with goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo paved the way for Bianconeri players when he scored 5 times for the Portugal national team even though they did not reach the final of the competition.

Italy won it after beating England on penalties, but normal time for the final ended 1-1.

Leonardo Bonucci scored Italy’s tying goal after Luke Shaw gave the Three Lions a shocking lead.

The goal was Juve’s 12th in the competition and it also helped the defender set a personal best.

He has now become the oldest person to score in a Euro final with that effort, as reported Football Italy.

At 34 years and 71 days, no one has scored in the final who is as old as him and this record will likely stick around for a while.

Winning the Euro would give the Juventus contingent a huge boost ahead of a campaign that is set to win Serie A again, under the leadership of Massimiliano Allegri.
