Daughter Lili was born in early June, two years after son Archie was born. In an earlier interview with Vogue, Prince Harry already indicated that there is enough offspring in the house for him. The Population Matters organization, of which Sir David Attenborough is a patron, commends Harry and Meghan for their role in reducing the environmental impact of not having more children.
“By openly choosing a family with up to two children, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are helping to create a better future for their children and setting an example for other families,” a spokesperson said.
“A smaller family reduces our impact on the planet and provides better opportunities for our children, their children and future generations to thrive in a healthy world,” he continues. “We commend the Duke and Duchess for their enlightening decision and for confirming that a small family is also a happy family.”
